Who we are
Hello, and welcome.
I’m Gamar Naamneh, founder of Toasts & Truffles — a catering studio born from a deep love of food, flavour, and the joy of gathering. I grew up in Dubai in a home where the table was always full — of food, guests, and generous tradition. My roots are Azerbaijani, and the recipes passed through generations formed the foundation of how I understand hospitality.
At 18, I moved to London to study law. It was the first time I found myself far from home—truly on my own. I began to cook out of homesickness, seeking familiar flavours, and soon discovered a passion that would shape my life. That love of food stayed with me through many chapters — from London to Geneva, where I worked in high-level diplomacy at the United Nations, and eventually to Barcelona, where I now live with my husband and our two children.
What began as a quiet love of cooking and hosting has grown into Toasts & Truffles: a full-service catering studio rooted in elegance, warmth, and intentional detail. Our team is trained in the art of refined hospitality — from presentation and service to gracious interaction and care. Every element is thoughtfully considered.
We believe that catering should be an experience, not just a service. From styled gatherings and corporate events to intimate dinners and brand launches, each table we create is guided by soul and precision. Our clients return again and again not only for our flavours, but for that feeling of home — the sense of something familiar, lovingly done.
